The Internet booming has extend itself everywhere around us and has brought us tothe Internet Age. The government management is facing more challenge andopportunities in the Internet Age. E-government has been a crucial factor that canbring the overall competitive ability of a country or area to a higher level.E-government is of great importance for improving local governments to implementpublicity and transparency, efficiency and honesty, to entitle all citizens theinvolvement, participation and supervision. The economy is still undeveloped in somepart of China, which includes partial Eastern China and majority of Western andCentral China. The lagging of economy in these areas has greatly been a encumbranceto the national overall level of economy, dragging down the further improvability ofcomprehensive national strength, and having posted an obstacle on the way ofcomprehensive well-off society brought by Central Party Committee. Hence,improving the undeveloped area's economy by giant leap has been a crucial issue forus, and E-government is one of the ways which can do this. It is also a problematicissue that how to improve the information construction in other fields bye-government, and how to improve local economy. We have to achieve breakthroughin both theory and technology to get success in e-government. Also we have to put itinto practice and break the ice of traditional mainstream pattern, keep innovating intheory, technology and practice, and study and come up with new ideas and methodsin e-government. This article consists of five parts: Part 1 introduces goal andsignificance of the selected topic and architecture;Part 2 studies the connotation,construction of e-government, development of e-government in other countries andtheir experience, the development of e-government in China and the outcome, inwhich the e-government in developed countries is the important part.;Part 3 analyzesthe current status of e-government in undeveloped areas of China, introduces thesignificance of E-government in undeveloped areas, and proposes the issues andobstacles of E-government. Part 4 is the key part of this article, and it proposessuggestions and countermeasures of E-government;Part 5 makes research ofe-government construction in Hengshui as an undeveloped area.
