China is the largest textile exporter in the world, so the abolishment of global textile product quota and the realization of the textile trade integration in 2005 have a great significance for its textile product exports. However, since China has signed those restricted clauses in related documents when it entered WTO, its textile exports are still to be limited by certain special mechanism after 2005, including textile-specific safeguard, transitional product-specific safeguard mechanism, and non-market economy affirmable system when Dumping and Subsidies be assured. In addition, the influence of technique trade barrier on the textile exports of China will still be stronger.Based on the explanation of international regulations, using the methods of comparative research and empirical research, this thesis aims to point out some legal problems on Chinese textile exports, compared with the present legislative condition of related regulations. By analyzing Sino-USA and Sino-EU textile trade dispute process in 2005, this thesis provides some rational legal countermeasures which china can take for facing the export trade barriers in post-quotas times.On the basis of above analysis, the author draws the following conclusions: first, rational understanding and application of relative regulations is essential to the response textile trade barriers in post-quotas times;secondly, there are some gaps in the awareness and application of legal rules on the settlement of textile disputes at present;thirdly, the author suggests the following measures could be taken to deal with the textile export trade barriers in post-quotas times: improving foreign trade legal system, establishing other related legal system, guiding the main parties to use the law and international rules reasonably.
