An Exploratory Study On The Values Orientation Of Leaders At The Grassroots Level In Communist Party

Values Orientation is dynamic represent of the Value, which can exert great effects on people's behavior, In this study, self-made grassroots leaders'values orientation questionnare is compiled on the basis of the expert-interview technique and literature review, by which 879 grassroots leaders in Communist Party are investigated.By methods of exploratory factor analysis and confirmed facor analysis, this study establishes and confirms the Values Orientation modeling of the grassroots level leaders in Communisit Party, and analyses the differences on Values Orientation of grassroots level leaders. Furthermore, this study discusses the relationships between Values Orientaion and Organizational Citizenship Behavior as well, In the hope of giving references to management and educational training for the grassroots leaders. The results of this study indicate:(1)The whole situation of values orientation at the grassroos level in Communist Party is favorable, power and money orientations is below the middle level, orientation of knowledge ,life ,society,success,relationship is at the middle or high level.(2)The rank of the Values Orientation is: life orientation >knowledge orientation>society orientation>relationship orientation>success orientaion >power and money orientation.(3) The grassroots level leaders'society orientation and success orientation have significant differences in gender.(4) The grassroots level leaders'society orientation and relationship orientation have significant differences in age.(5) The grassroots level leaders'values orientation have no significant...
