Since the classic research of "Job Satisfaction" in 1935 by the American scholar Hoppock, the job satisfaction research has been gaining much attention, and has become an important index for organization diagnosis and administrative stimulation. Some relevant surveys validate that, job satisfaction does have something to do with people's devotion to work, organization promise and organization performance. A report by American congress in 1997 said, federal government employee's constantly decreasing working attitude resulted in a crisis, and cankered the government's reaction ability to public demands, public servant is the principal part of the government administration, so the job satisfaction level of the public servant influences deeply on their devotion to work, government improvement on ability and performance, as well as the society development and regime constructing!According to the theory of Organization & Behavior, based on lots of domestic and international research literature on job satisfaction survey, referring to public servant job satisfaction survey table by American scholar Paul E. Spector, this article makes a survey to public servant in Shan Tao district government. Through Statistic and analysis to lllpcs survey questionnaires, it analyses the job satisfaction of the public servant with different aspects, such as gender, age, education level, service time, position, income and so on, and also analyses from 9 aspects, such as pay, fringe benefits, promotion, contingent rewards, communication, nature of work, supervision, coworkers, operating procedures!Through the analyze on public servant's job satisfaction, the job satisfaction level of the public servant in Shan Tao district government needs improving, especially satisfaction with operating procedure and pay is low! According to the problems concluded by the satisfaction survey, this article will propose from three aspects, and try to take stimulation measures to raise the job satisfaction level of the public servant, improve their job devotion level and government performance!...
