There is always a steam of main theme in this stream of human rights thought, and that is just the its philosophy basis—humanism. The third part introduces the connotation and value provision of humanism as well as humanism's historical function to generation and formation of the renaissance. After analyzing the substance, characteristics, historical function and limitation of human rights thought in the renaissance, the last part describes Marxism classic author's criticism for human rights thought in the renaissance and apocalypse for the development of China's human rights of the present age. This text tries to sum up the human rights thought in the western renaissance through using the historical analysis method; although the thought about human rights can't become a system at that time, it also doesn't form a systematic concept. But, the essential thought embodied by it shows the bright sparkle in the thought history of human rights.
