Research On Community Participation Of Yuhua District Community Construction

Nowadays, as the governance reform is going on in the countries all of world, citizen participation theory has been applied more and more as most important contents of governance theories. One of the objectives of city communities constructions activities which takes "basic management system reform, community functions enforcement" as the tenet is to motivate the community residency, community companies and community non-government organization to make joint effort to compensate the insufficiency of cities' basic management So, communities participation is the inner energy of community improvement. Community participation status has very close relationship with community construction. The level of community main participants is the benchmark of community construction, and it is also an important factor which affects the results of community construction.The thesis combines the conclusion of literature, interview and questionnaire, uses the research materials of Yuhua District as data base, and completes an analysis about the field, methods and main participation of community construction. Based on the contrast analysis of all research results, author get the conclusion that: as a whole, residents have a very strong desire to manage community affair, but they haven't so much action in fact. Interests influence heavily people's participation consciousness. Self-governing organization and intermediary organization and other organizations show very weak intention to deal with community affair. So it is necessary to extent community participation field, to organize and institutionalize community participation.
