The America is "an emigrant country", which destines that it can be perplexed by the racial problem. The black and other minorities deeply suffered the discriminatory bitter for more than 200 years. Their some rights such as political rights, economic rights, educational rights etc. can't be guaranteed, which caused the minorities to oppose to fights against racial discrimination. Their opposition had obtained certain result.What is worthy to notice is that the environment of the minority had obviously changed since the 1980s, following which is that the racial relation of the United States tended to the strain, and became more complicated and sharp: The racial discrimination is forbidden but it exists still; the gap between rich and poor is more serious; the emigrant policy of the United States tightened after September 11 affair, etc.The racial policy of the United States experienced the process of to "the melting pot thought" again to "the multicultural doctrine". But how to moderate the relation of the multiplicity and the integration will still be the key -stone of the racial policy established by the United States.Along with the globalization, the society of the America is suffering the pain in the course of the conflict of the multiplicity and the integration. In the future that can be foreseen, the racial problem will still be the most troublesome social problem in America. If the minorities want to acquire the real equality, the road will be endless and arduous.
