The economical globalization and the trade liberalization make the relationship between economic and environment more and more closer. While pursuing the maximize environment problem closely in order to realize "keeping on the development". At the same time, the economy development of developed countries and the improvement of people's living standard also make people around the world pay more attention to their health and life quality, refusing to accept products that are harmful to health and environment protection. Consequently, green barrier came into being. Green trade barrier protects the natural resource, the ecological environment and the human health to formulate a series of harsh environment standard to set barriers to limit products which come from other countries, and it is a trade barrier which the developed countries set obstacle for the developing countries' products entering into their native markets. Many green barrier types exist, they affect area broadly, pointed strong, the invisibility is deep, the fraudulence is big, degree for protection is high, and they are really one extremely typical trade protection method. Through the international trade case survey, in recent years, it is easy to discover that, the green barrier has become one of most important trade barriers, influences the development of international trade and exerts the extremely significant influence to the international trade advancement. This text clearly illuminates the basic meaning of green trade barriers, and analyzes the causing factors and main manifestations of green trade barriers, with WTO relevant negotiate of designate as research foundation, and combining the analysis of related classic case. It also points out the developing countries should not rebuke green trade barriers, on the contrary, they should adopt measures to improve technique level and attain the technique requests of the developed country. At last, from the domestic legislation to the international law, the article presents some legal measures for the green trade barriers.
