The Research On The Stress And Influencing Factors Of Chinese People's Armed Police Forces

Problems of mental stress have generally become study subjects by many people in psychology during these years. Mental stress is related with 'mental health of soldiers living in the army. Chinese People's Armed Police Forces is a corps among Chinese army, and Chinese People's Armed Police Forces Soldiers are main object of military and main human resource of military. Good psychology defense of quality is inherent impetus mechanism and psychology line of making the military 'not changing', Analyzing the psychology quality scientifically and reasonably and forging a invincible military in information fight is an important and urgent task for our military. So the psychology quality is the main factor which makes up the warfare. centering the core problems such as present conditions of soldiers' psychology quality and the resources strengthening soldiers' psychology quality. At first ,the author analyze the factors impacting soldiers psychology quality. secondly, the author explore five hundred soldier of S province soldiers of Chinese People's Armed Police Forces by self-developed military mental stress questionnaire used in assessment of soldiers' psychological stress level and a series of related scales with high reliability and validity. In the end ,we study the relationships of stress response, social support Perceived social support and mental health. The results are as follows:1. The results show that the problems such as adapting problem, military training problem, sudden stress, psychosocial conflict, self-feeling and developing problem are the important factors that affects mental stress level of Chinese People's Armed Police. on the basis of study ,the author developed'The investigative questionnaire of stress about Chinese People's Armed Police Forces' which is acceptable reliability and validity, and can be applied to investigate and analyze solder's stress.2. With the analysis of the features on stress level, social support ,Perceived social support and mental heath level ,we find that adapting problem has mainly influenced the stress level of solders of Chinese People's Armed Police Forces. the second factor is military training problem. then,useing the analysis of variance about military rank, education level, family back ground(single child/non-single child),family condition ,solder source variable and time of joining the army, the result show that :family condition and family back ground aren't significant differences in the stress level and metal health level, but military rank, education level and time of joining the army are significant differences in the stress level and metal health level. The date were processed by t-test about family back ground in the social support and Perceived social support. The result shows that it isn't significant differences in the social support, but it is significant differences in the Perceived social support.3. Six factors of the stress level the soldiers of Chinese People's Armed Police Forces have a significant positive relationship with all scores of the factors. In the Symptom Check-list, It explain mental question the soldiers of Chinese People's Armed Police Forces have close relationship with things which they have done ever. With the comparison between stress response and mental health, there are significant differences between the high stress group and low stress group in the symptom Depression, Somatization, Obsessive -compulsive, Anxiety and Psychoticism.4. With the comparison between each other of the stress level, social support, Perceived social support and mental heath level of the soldiers of Chinese People's Armed Police Forces, The stress level has a significant positive relationship with mental heath level, social support has also a significant relationship with Perceived social support, and Perceived social support and mental health , the social support , Perceived social support has a significant negative relationship with the SCL-90 factor scored of force .With the comparison on the stress level has a significant negative relationship with social support and Perceived social support, and social support has also relief function on the mental health and the Stress, social support ,Perceived social support have mutual interaction on the mental health of the soldiers of Chinese People's Armed Police Forces.5. There are latent structural relationships among the stress level, social support, Perceived social support and mental health level through path analysis, and we find Perceived social support as a third variable affects the mental health on the stress level and social support, and which had easy function on the mental health; Through path analysis, we find mental health status of the soldiers of Chinese People's Armed Police Forces is good ,but there are some problems for them. Stressor may be main factor to soldier's mental problem.
