Resilient research is a new trend for children developmentresearch since 1980' s, which is based on the study on children ofhigh crisis, children in unfavorable situations, and children understress. The evaluation of resilient development is often correlatedwith a special research field in a certain situation. The statisticanalysis of the situations of unofficial rural labor sellers'children's learning adaptability shows that their learningadaptability development is in a relatively unfavorable situation,compared with that of urban settles' children.Using a psychological resilient research method, the authorinvestigated a large amount of samples to examine the difference oflearning adaptability development of junior high school studentsbetween unofficial rural labor sellers' children and urbansettles' children, to explore the feature of unofficial rural laborsettlers' children' s resilient development in learningadaptability, and to find out the influencing factors of resilientdevelopment by means of covariance, correlation analysis, andregression analysis. The author also examined the mechanism ofresilient development in learning adaptability by way of mediatingrole analysis and moderator effect analysis. The research resultsare as follows:(1) Unofficial rural labor sellers' children are able to adaptto junior high school learning in learning attitude, learning skills,and mental and physical well-being, but less able to adapt to thelearning environment, compared to urban settles' children.(2) The situations concerning when unofficial rural laborsellers' children come to study in the city, at what age thosechildren go to live in the city with their parents, how well theirparents work in the city, and what their social and economic statuesare have little effect on the level of resilient development inlearning adaptability. And the individual resilient development inlearning adaptability might possibly have some special psychological character.(3) The group of resilient development in learning adaptabilityhas higher self-efficiency, receive more social support, gets moreaffectionate understanding and support and less punishment, refusaland denial from parents.(4) Self-efficiency, social support and parental affection andunderstanding have a positive effect on resilient development inlearning adaptability, while severe parental punishment, refusal anddenial have a negative effect. High self-efficiency, high socialsupport and effective parental rearing styles play an important rolein protecting the learning adaptability of unofficial rural laborsellers' children.(5) Social support has a major effect on the learning adaptabilityof unofficial rural labor sellers' children. High social supportcan generally encourage the learning adaptability development ofunofficial rural labor sellers' children in spite of the parentalrearing style and their self-efficiency during study.(6) As an individual cognitive factor, self-efficiency in studypartially mediates the impact of learning adaptability, comparedwith parents' rearing style and social support.
