| Learning disability is a common phenomenon in our country’s compulsory education.It seriously affects the all-round development of students and the improvement of our country’s education quality.Especially in primary schools located in remote rural areas,many students exhibit their own characteristics of "left-behind children",such as poor school conditions and teacher resources,which lead to the lack of the enough education attention and investment they deserve.Therefore,these students are disabled to learn.This study,focusing on the impact of "environment" on the learning process of rural left-behind children,intends to figure out the specific reasons behind their learning disabilities by analyzing the surroundings they are centered.Based on the specific practical cases,observation,interviews and other research methods are used to collect and analyze the data of the case with the purpose of predicting the characteristics of the main learning disabilities and formulating service objectives and plans that meet these characteristics.After the practical services,parents’ educational concepts and methods have been changed,teachers’ educational attention increased,the social relationship between the case object and the environment improved,and more extensive interpersonal support obtained by the case object.Different measures are employed to help the research objects to overcome the learning disabilities,which include the improvement of the object’s internal learning motivation,environment,self-confidence and learning interest.At the end of the research,with the help of the parents and teachers of the object,the characteristics of learning disabilities are evaluated again so as to strengthen the object’s environmental interaction,reverse the mismatch between the academic achievements and IQ.The study tries to testify the effectiveness of social work for resolving the learning disabilities of rural left-behind children,expand the effect and coverage of social work practice,and provide a reference for future case social work intervention towards the learning disabilities of rural left-behind children. |
