The rapid development of the economy in our country has led the welfare of its population to the great enhancement. As a result, the Chinese people prefer to achieve their political purposes rather than pursue the material ones. The deficiency in China's political regimes such as the incompleteness of regimes as well as the imperfection of legislation gets the political hopes of the Chinese people to some extent unlikely to achieve. This thesis tries to study the villagers' autonomous vote, the most microscopic part in China's political regimes, in order to find out some operation problems and simultaneously to come up with some solutions and policy proposals with the hope of contributing to the perfection of our contemporary regimes and the solution to the issues concerning agriculture, countryside and farmers. This paper is composed of four chapters, the major ideas of which are presented as follows:The first chapter is an introduction, in which the research background and significance are briefly presented, the strengths and weaknesses addressed, and the research methodology employed as well. The second one mainly concerns the interpretation of pertinent theories and the clarification of relevant conceptions with respect to the villagers' autonomous vote in China in order to theoretically back up the following chapters. Such notions as citizen, villager and autonomy are clarified in this part. Thereafter, three major theories as well as four important principles are presented. The vital significance of accomplishing the rural vote is finally revealed. The third mostly discusses the current situations of China's rural autonomous vote. In this chapter, the attainments are firstly depicted while the deficiencies analyzed. The former involves legislation, the vote system and the improvements as well, whereas the topics of the latter ranges from the obscurity of the clauses to the deficiency in voting mechanism to the misplacement of the administration in vote. The last section of this part analyzes the reasons for the shortcomings. The last illustrates the solutions and the concluding remarks. In align with the problems pertinent the former chapter, the author figures out a great many appropriate, feasible policy proposals, the proposals that the legislative institutions should perfect the laws and regulations pertinent to the villagers' autonomous vote, that the flowchart guaranteeing the proper vote procedures be devised for the legislative institutions, that the flow diagram completing the judiciary relief system be designed, and that the role of the government in the countryside autonomous vote be clarified as well. The general understanding of this thesis makes it clear the deficiencies and weaknesses in China's rural autonomous vote system. The deep analysis in this paper greatly contributes to a variety of useful, feasible policy suggestions and solutions for this vote system. Two novel flowcharts are hopefully available for the perfection of China's vote regime from the microscopic perspective, which is the possible creativity of this thesis.
