Raising administration-efficacy is always a key social issue in public administration of China, and the study of administration-efficacy is considered to be the very core of the public administration study. Administrative efficiency supervision(AES)means that administrative supervision agencies,according to rules of law,carry out their supervision actions on public sector agencies,public servants,and the related individuals,to see whetheradministrative powers are employed properly,and whether administrative duties are performed efficiently,and if not,to punish undesirable behaviors amid.To reinforce AES is nowadays a common consensus all around the world After years of practice at home and abroad,current AES has reached somewhat peak in the structure decomposition,institutional building,scrutiny,and government honesty,helping to reform government's duty,constrain the behavior of administrative agencies and public servants. At Present , AES in Chinahas not has not matured , both Praetieal and theoretieal.Thereofre, it is urgent to research and Pormote it in China.Through reviewing the history of administrative supervision work in our country from the establishment of the People' Republic of China,especially from the time that we carried out the reform and open-door policy,this article is devoted to summarize the effect and experience which we have got from it,to explain its role in the process of administrative management,to analyze problems that exist then to put forward further methods and countermeasures to perfect ou AES.
