The research mainly concerns of job burnout of police. The domestic research mainly inquires into the stress resource, the relationships between the social supporting system and job burnout. The research on police is mostly about the stress of occupations and psychological health, social supporting and the life quality of police, the personality trait analysis. But it few involve the job burnout of police. This research aims to inquire into the job burnout of police and the relationships among the psychology, physiology and action after appearing job burnout. Besides, we regard supervisory social support as the factor affecting job burnout and inquiry into the relationship between supervisory social support and police's job burnout.We examine the MBI scale, the consequences of the police's job burnout scale and the supervisory social support scale. The result of the validity and reliability examination of the three scales prove that they are fit for the researching purpose and requirements. The research was made question measure to the examinees-police. Through the methods of related analysis, the ANOVA analysis and the linear regression analysis, we get the following conclusions.Firstly, through the examination to the scales, we know that the three scales has wonderful validity and reliability. So it has certain spreading value.Secondly, for the burnout standard, the level difference of different police's qualification and age is very striking. The variable of demography has certain impact on the burnout of police. They can affect burn out as buffer variable.Thirdly, there is a marked correlation between the job burnout and result variability. Firstly, the forecast variables of the behavior performances are emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, between them, the emotional exhaustion has the best forecast force. Next to it, the forecast variable of physiology performance is emotional exhaustion. The last one entering the equation of the psychological performance is depersonalization, the reduced personal accomplishment, in which the depersonalization is the most forecast force.At last, there is a marked correlation between the perceived supervisory social support and the dimension of job burnout. Firstly, the forecast variable of emotional exhaustion is information support. Next to it, the forecast variables of depersonalization are information support and value identification, in which the information support has the best forecast force. The last one entering the equation of the reduced personal accomplishment is emotional support, in which the emotional support is the most forecast force.Besides, according the result of research, we put forward some methods on how to reduce the job burnout of police from individual, management and society aspect.
