With the speeding up of the globalization of world economy, rapid development of technology, our job stress has been becoming bigger and bigger as well as job burnout, and the job burnout problem has been paying more and more focus and discussion. For the professional features of many psychological stressors and strong job stress etc., job burnout problem of police officer has been becoming a major concern. According to some documentation from home and abroad, the job burnout level from police office has been in a higher condition. Job burnout has not only to impact on the individual physical and psychological health of police officer, but also to impact on the performance of the police, even to have a bad effect on the social stability and national security.Police officer in Shenzhen have been facing more job stress for Shenzhen is our state's special economic zone, thus job burnout problem can not be more neglected . So deep studying on the current state and root of Shenzhen police office job burnout, and seeking an effective way to relieve job burnout is significant. This paper aims to learn the state of job stress, social support and job burnout of Shenzhen police officer, seek the correlation between job stress and job burnout and verify the buffering effect of social support against job burnout. The following is the detailed research thoughts:Firstly, based on the theoretical principle from the relative documentation on job burnout, job stress and social support etc, combined with the true practice of Shenzhen police office, this paper proposes the mental model and the problem to be solved; secondly, adopting the methods of the combination of theory with practice and the combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis, the author fully knows the job burnout, job stress and social support condition through the ways of interviewing and questionnaire survey and so on, study the prediction function of "job stress" as the antecedent variable against "job burnout" as the induced variable by applying SPSS15.0 software for data analysis, and discover the buffering effect of "social support" as the buffer variable between "job stress" and "job burnout".The main discussions are gotten from the study as followed:(1) Job burnout level of Shenzhen police officer is higher as a whole, among of them, the highest is the emotional exhaustion degree, next to dehumanization degree, third to reduction degree of personal achievement sense.(2) The difference is especially notable among three dimension levels of Shenzhen police officer's job burnout in sex, age, police classification and police working age etc.(3) It is a notable positive correlation between job stress and job burnout of Shenzhen police officer. Meanwhile, job stress (some dimensions) of Shenzhen police office has effect for the generation of job burnout (some dimensions).(4) Social support (some dimensions) plays a notable role of negative weakening buffering effect between job stress (some dimensions)of Shenzhen police officer and job burnout (some dimensions).Finally, in connection with seven buffering effect ways gotten from the study, combining with the true practice of Shenzhen police, proceeding from strengthening individual psychological quality and stress ability, organizing objective support, individual subjective support and utilization of individual support, the author puts forward the countermeasure thought to police officer's job burnout, which has a certain practical guide for effectively easing the job burnout degree of police office.
