Gene technology, a heatedly discussed issue ever since its birth, has brought opportunities to many fields. In the early 90s, gene technology began to get commercialized, and in agriculture and medical and pharmaceutical industry, it experienced an even more rapid improvement and marketization . Genetically modified food (hereinafter referred to as "GMF" ) is the inevitable product as the result of human productivity progress, which has fundamental transformed our concept of food.
