Under normal circumstances, children should live with their parents, but in some special circumstances, children can not,such as parents do not work around. Parents two or one of them went out to work, can not take their children, so the children can only stay at home, this situation is common in the vast rural areas, children left at home, left behind, parents this large-scale population activities cause their children become a special group- left behind children.From 1980 s, the country is to develop labor-intensive industries, the use of excess domestic labor, so that China has become the world’s generation plant". In recent years, industrial reform, industrial restructuring and other policies have been put on the agenda, as a result of the policy change, more and more people in the city more favor of the third industry, but the need for a simple labor of the factory still exists, the demand for labor has led to rural workers,rural labor force began to large-scale migration and flow, to a certain extent, accelerate the process of urbanization in rural areas.Rural labor belongs to young adults, their migrant workers is to get paid to feed their families or to change the life, due to the meager income, or substantial income but the harsh working environment, most of the workers who are not in the city married son settled, return home after marriage can not take children into the city, even if the child could be followed in their parents, because of China’s household registration system, they can not enter primary and middle schools in the city enjoy like urban children of nine-year compulsory education.This paper analyzes the causes of left behind children from the system, family, school, society and so on. The government should try to reduce the impact of two yuan in the urban and rural areas. The government should pay more attention to the students’ academic performance and pay more attention to the psychological problems of left behind children. The rural community is closely related to blood, and should take this as a starting point, the rural community as a unit concerned about the growth of the left behind children. Parents and guardians should always pay attention to the children’s changes, so that children can tell when they have their minds, to reduce their psychological turmoil and psychological pressure. The data in the paper are from the social investigation of the left behind children in the rural areasof Daiyue district.
