On The Socialization Of Prison Execution

Execution of punishment is the end result of penal legislation and judicial activities, as well as a key link of punishment enforcement and realization. In modern times, influenced by the economic development and different thoughts, the western countries are beginning to realize the deficiencies of the traditional execution system, reflect on the defects in the traditional execution process, and stride out to search for a new system to replace the old, aiming at the social regression of criminals. It is under this precondition that the prison execution socialization came into being, which will be the natural trend of the punishment execution system reform for all countries. During China's long term execution practice, the socialization degree of the prison execution pattern is turning out to be evidently insufficient due to the restriction and affects of multi-factors. Therefore, it is the necessary requirement of China's execution development to explore the prison execution socialization comprehensively, and it is an especially important step to advance the development of prison execution socialization related jobs.The text of this paper consists of two major parts: Part One is an introduction to the argument premise, definition, features and value of execution socialization; Part Two expounds the ideaistic source of prison execution socialization and dissertates the theoretical basis; Part Three presents the typical exemplary countries that have made satisfactory achievements in the practice of prison execution socialization and briefly summarizes the primary characters and patterns; In Part Four, the author narrates the current situation of execution socialization and the existing major obstacles of China; In Part Five, the author envisions the development pattern for advancing China's prison execution socialization by remolding ideology, readjusting the configuration, and refining the system.
