Theodore Roosevelt was the twenty-third President of the United States. This period represented a momentous turning point in the history of domestic affairs and diplomatic. Along with the rapidly developed economy, America tried to seek a great power status comparative to the economy status. And then, the America joined forces with a band of foreign expansion. It began to contest colony with other countries. In diplomatic, the America began to change the isolationism. Widely participated in the world affair was became the keystone of the diplomatic of the America. China is a big country in the Fareast, so the America saw it as an important objective to expand.Theodore Roosevelt was famous as a realistic politician. He used various means to acquire privilege and profit in tottering china. This article tries to via case study to probe into the diplomatic policy of The America to china in this period. These cases are : open door policy and the war between the Russia and the Japan, the disputed about YueHan railway between the America and china ,the excluding abs policy and the rejected American goods movement, the handed back of American's unnecessary boxer indemnity and its use in China's education.
