A Research On Strengthening And Improving The Party-Building Work Of College Students In The New Era

Party-building work of college students is one of the most important parts of training outstanding qualified personnel and giving young students political quality education in higher schools. Whether the Party-building work of a school is perfect or not, and whether the training measures of student Party members are effective or not, determine to a large extent the success of personnel training for the 21st century. Therefore, under the new situation, strengthening and improving the Party-building work among college students is one of the important tasks for the college Party workers. Based on this educational background, taking a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods, the article explores how to strengthen and improve college students'Party-building work in the new era from four aspects.The first part firstly defines the concept of Party-building work of college students, then points out that the specific content of the work should be mainly the four parts of ideological building, organizational building, working style building and systematic building, and finally discusses briefly its guiding ideology, general requirements and basic principles. It points out that the work of Party building should take "Three Represents" as its guidance, taking a positive and prudent attitude, increasing the number of student Party members, guaranteeing the quality of the students as overall requirements, and emancipating the mind and always maintaining advanced in practical work conscientiously as the basic principle, so that student Party-building work and student talent education can be combined organically.The second part, based on the present author's questionnaire survey in Hebei Province, firstly introduces the composition ratio between student Party members and the other students of higher schools in Hebei Province, their motivation of joining the Party, their theoretical study and education, their advanced nature and the role of the political tutors and the branch secretaries, then explains respectively the achievements that the Party-building work of college students has made and the shortcomings that exists. Then it concludes that higher schools of Hebei Province has made great achievements in the Party-building work, such as the building of the working team, the standardization of the system of developing student Party members and the improvement of the primary Party organizations of college students, but there still are some problems in the two aspects: the operation of the Party branch of college students and the personal development of student Party members.The third part mainly analyzes the reasons for the problems that the current work has. The reasons are mainly as the following: first, the impact of various unhealthy practices inside and outside the Party; second, the impact of some higher school leaders paying insufficient attention to it; third, the impact of the inappropriate training and education; fourth, the impact of the problems existing in the team of the Party-building work of college students.The fourth part mainly proposes some countermeasures against the current problems existing in the Party-building work of college students, considering that the work should be strengthened and improved from the following three aspects: first, to take the full implementation of mechanisms for education, focusing on the training of correct ideals; second, to build a sound training system, upholding the principle of quality first; third, to improve the continuing education of Party members, strengthening the quality and ensuring the effectiveness.
