Rational Thoughts On Introducing ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems To Township Government

As the most important organizational structure of the society, governments has its fundamental duties and tasks, namely, managing various administrative affairs, improving the quality of social activities, enhancing the level of economic development and making society orderly function and develop. With the intensifying dramatic change of the society, modern government is now facing more and more problems with increasing complexity. How to better improve the administrative efficiency, to fulfill administrative tasks and to promote the coordinated development of society as a whole, are presently major issues urgently to be solved by government of all levels.This thesis follows the principle of theory combined with practice, employs research methodologies such as case law, induction method, social law and bibliography method, in combination with my working experience and practice of implementing ISO quality management systems at Jinfeng Town, so as to explore and justify that implementing ISO 9000 quality management systems is an efficient means to enhance the efficiency of government public sectors. Despite that ISO 9000 quality management systems have not been put into practice for a long time and neither have they been applied widely in our country, they have already achieved quite some positive results, which suffices to justify their applicability to our country as an advanced management technology. Therefore, the ISO 9000 quality management systems deserve an in-depth research and study into the theoretical and practical prospect of their application to government agencies by related departments and the academic community for a full implementation to government agencies as soon as possible.
