Performance Management, as an advanced mode of management, is widely adopted and applied by the enterprises as well as the government. Army, as a specific group, follows the traditional training and management mode in a long-term. But along with the coming of the Revolution in Military Affairs, the army's campaign artifice, weapon arming and warring manners are deeply transforming. Thus, the traditional drill management mode faces a challenge. Drill, as the focus work for the military, is the main means for the harmoniously cooperation between the human beings and the inosculation between the human and weapon arming, and also the main fashion for the improvement of the battle effectiveness.With the constantly penetration of the Revolution in Military Affairs, the army need urgently a management system which can promote continuously the training performance. In the system, the army officers and soldiers are capable of analyzing and considering of their behaviors during the training, and establishing an interaction motivation which the individual is the main part and exerting their self-motivation. By the means, the officers and soldiers will win the feedbacks through various ways for their improvement of the training. This thesis tries to introduce performance management of the human resource management to the military drills, via the analysis of the constructing of the performance management system, discussing the application of the performance management into the drill. And expect to seek for a reference mode for the modern military drill management. The thesis is divided structurally into 6 parts.The first part: Introduction. By the description of the current status and main problem of the military drill management, discuss its peculiarity and point out the practical significance of the performance management as a modern management utility into the drills.The second part: the analysis of the performance management and the military drill management, including: the introduction of the performance management and the definition of the military drill management.The third part: the establishment of the drill performance management system. This part will discuss the principle and requirement of the system. Specifically introduce how to prepare the drill plan, how to frame the performance evaluation index and how to organize and implement. And this is also the core part of the thesis.The forth part: the attendant problems in the implement of the military drill performance management. Stresses on the two kinds of problems: one is the self-limitation of the system, and the other is problem exiting in the practicing of the management.The fifth part: the military drill performance management tested in a certain PLA unit. By the example, particularly expatiates the testing process of the management, and sums up the ingathering, insufficiency and various factors in the promotion process of the management in the certain PLA unit.The Sixth part: make a summary. Sums up the specialty of the military drill performance management, fatherly clarifies the author's attitude to the implement of the performance management into the military drills.
