The artical mainly included the foreword and summary of researches,research methods, results, discussion, conclusions and other parts.According to statistics of China's elderly results show that in 2005 the elderly over the age of 60 has reached 144 million, accounting for 11% of the total population, indicating that China has entered the aging society, and as the rate of 3.3% increased every year. According to the population age structure to determine the type of standards, Changchun city is also faced with the aging of the population from the preliminary to a comprehensive changed in the elderly. At present, Changchun , the elderly population has more than 810,000 , accounting for 10.9 percent of the total population .Among them, the 90-year-old has reached more than 10,268 .The 21st century, the elderly health has become the worldwide issue. The World Health Organization put forward to "Healthy Aging" in 1990; The 15th International Association of Gerontology further suggested "Science for The Elderly Health" in 1993. Since then, around the various Institution-supported-the aged set up .In accordance with internationally recognized standards, a country or region as the molecular number of the elderly to the total population as the denominator, a number of the population over 65 years of age accounted for more than 7 percent the proportion of the population, or more than 60 years of age population accounts for more than 10% the proportion of the population, the international community is generally believed that the country has entered an aging society.Institutions for the elderly and the elderly pension studies,sociology and environmental psychology suggested that research need to from two research directions. First, the arrival of an aging society study the mental and physical health for the elderly, from sociology, demography, psychology, behavior, physiology, such as the point of view, research and environmental factors, physical and mental health and the elderly-related factors to enable the elderly quality of life and social sense of belonging to a diversified and comprehensive direction.Second, concern about the aging factor in health and the environment, as well as socio-economic study of individual differences variables, such as the elderly age, sex, personality characteristics, social support, physical fitness, athletic ability, such as differences in quality of life of elderly and the sense of belonging enhance the usefulness of research in this field.The first chapter of this research is the interpretation of some related concepts, including the aging of the population, quality of life, the sense of belonging as well as relevant research of the quality of life and the sense of belonging.The elderly refers to the human biological structure and physiological aging. Due to the laws of biology and environment constraints, and the body growth and maturation of the sequence of synchronization, with the inevitable aging of the passage of time, irreversible.Criteria to judge the elderly, according to people in different living environment, personal growth of their own conditions and development of innate differences in the body.In 1956, the United Nations commissioned a French demographer written and published the book of aging of the population and its socio-economic impact, in which 65-year-old as a starting for the elderly.In 1982, at the World Assembly on Aging of the United Nations defined the limits of eldly as age of 60. At present, based on internationally accepted 60-year-old or 65-year-old as a standard.Aging not referring to the people live longer, but a human phenomenon of aging society groups.Now a common international standard is 65 years old and 65 years old above occupied the proportion of the total population≥7% or the population over 60 years≥10%, as a criteria for an aging society. If more than 65 years of age occupied the proportion of the population reached more than 15%, considered that super-eldly -type community.Institution-supported-the aged refers to the social institutions in the form of self-source organization by the elderly pension for the elderly paid or unpaid care and spiritual life of comfort for elderly and hardship at home to rely on subsidies to finance or elderly relativesin order to ensure the elderly live well . The environment of Institution-supported-the aged include physical environment and humanistic environment.Physical environment refers to the physical environment of the indoor environment and living facilities and corresponding supporting services and facilities, including the elderly and the elderly need special facilities for the use of public facilities.Physical facilities but also known as the hard environment, it belongs to the field of construction planning facilities.Humanistic environment refers to family relations, neighborhood relations, social support, belonging to the community, policy areas, which can be described as soft environment.S.R.Walker pointed out that the quality of life, including physical, psychological characteristics and its limited extent, it describes the implementation of the individual functions and the ability .Generally, the quality of life includes three aspects: physical, psychological, social function, and often including the degree of satisfaction and happiness.The quality of life of elderly is the comprehensive evaluation of elderly for their physical, mental, social, family, and social work skills .In generaly, sense of belonging is the concept of a cultural psychology.It refers to the individual or groups recognition of the extent of the thing or phenomenon.The sense of belonging to institution-supported-the aged, I think that means the identity, love and attachment, such as psychological feelings of the elderly .The second and the third chapters of the rearch are the problem posing and methods .Use the elderly life satisfaction scale as well as the sense of belonging to Institution-supported-the aged, such as environmental factors questionnaire stay in Changchun of Institution-supported-the aged in the elderly over the age of 60 conducted a questionnaire survey.The results use SPSS12.0.software to statistical analysis and use the multiple linear stepwise regression .The results showed that the Institution-supported-the aged of environmental factors on elderly quality of life and sense of belonging are affect significantly ,suggested better environment for the elderly have a higher quality of life and a strong sense of belonging.The fourth and the fifth chapters of this research, are the discussion and summary of researches.Have the useful discussions of Institution-supported-the aged from the elderly and the elderly psychology perspective.To explore the condition of our country for eldly mode of aged health care organizations to enhance the health of the elderly and improve the quality of life and achieving healthy aging.At present, on the severe aging process as the static, horizontal, quantitative study offer the little help,in order to bettersolve the aging society problem,further longitudinal descriptive study of qualitative research must be developedin the future.In order to adapt to the aging of the population for our city the rapid development of practical,fully reflect the people-centered scientific development concept, to enable the share the fruits of reform and development for the elderly, it is necessary to establish a as the unified, the high-standarded and the preferential treatment and the enlarging of the Institution-supported-the aged.
