The City Exploration Of Providing For The Aged In The Context Of Aging Population

With the increasing degree of aging of population, the population structure has undergonesignificant changes, in the context of aging put forward new requirements for the city’s agedcare service mode, originally mainly dominated by the family care service mode, aged careservice growing mode can not meet aging society requirements of increasingly diversified,multi-level needs. The elderly not only to meet the basic needs of food to eat and clothes towear, the demand is also reflected in the higher mental spiritual level. Moreover, the elderlyare no longer the traditional concept of an infirm person, the elderly after retirement into oldage is still old and solid, is the sum of social wealth of our city’s aged care service mode.There are new requirements and expectations on high levels. For such requirements andexpectations, author proposes to build city’s aged service mode of the radiation-city concept,and its purpose is to meet needs of a variety of different levels of the elderly.The thesis is to explore and study the building radiation city’s aged care service modefrom the point of view of public management. Thesis is divided into six chapters, the firstchapter is an introduction part of the thesis, the second chapter is of the city’s aged care servicemode theory, the third chapter is analysis of current situation in urban aging, the fourth chapterof Nanjing City’s aged care service investigation and analysis, the fifth chapter is practice andenlightenment from foreign or regions of city’s aged care service mode, the sixth chapter is tobuild a radiation-city aged care service mode.
