| Job-related well-being is that people take personal efforts to achieve the perfect real experiences and the feelings of development of their cause and capabilities. During this study, I take Macao civil servants as sample to be tested. By literature analysis and questionnaire surveys, I explore the content and structure of job-related well-being for Macao civil servants, as well as the relationship with population variables, both of which can be served as theoretical basis for related study about it in future. This research consists of three parts:The first part summarizes and analyzes the concepts, theories and measures of well-being, the investigation of well-being, the related research about well-being in China and the latest results and conclusions. Also I make an operational definition of job-related well-being. This part is the basis for the whole research. In the second part, I investigate three times with "job-related well-being" questionnaire, and then do statistics analysis to explore the factor model of job-related well-being for civil servants in Macao. First I get the initial questionnaire by open questions investigation and literature analysis, then test twice and revise it; at last I confirm the final formal questionnaire with 19 questions. The statistics analysis of reliability shows that the reliability coefficient of the whole scale is 0.95 and the reliability coefficient of each sub-scale is above 0.75, which means this questionnaire is reliable. The exploratory analysis reveals the job-related well-being for civil servants in Macao includes five factors: Relationship, Job Satisfaction, Job Return, Job Objective, and Self-assurance. The confirmative factor analysis proves that this five factor model is ideal. The third part analyses the relationship between population variables and job-related well-being by multivariate analysis, LSD test and independent T test. The population variables conclude gender, age, nationality, marriage, education, service years, employment, job rank and type. The main effect analysis shows that it has significant interaction between two-two population variables, service years and job type has significant main effect. Multivariate analysis shows that some population variables and interaction have significant effects on job-related well-being and on some of its factors. LSD test tells how this population variables influence those factors. Independent T test shows that gender, nationality and marriage have no significant effects on job-related well-being and any factors. |
