Russian Political Culture And Its Foreign Policy

Geopolitical security concept,the authoritarian tradition and the Russian Orthodox faith constitute a unique political culture.And these three elements interact among each other and they are inseparable,forming a three-in-one relationship. Russia's political culture has a strong relevance with its foreign policy.Geopolitical security is the fundamental basis for the Russian foreign policy,despotism is the specific means to the implementation of geo-security strategy,the Orthodox concept of salvation and the idea of"divine grants monarchial power"separately provides a pillar of thought to the legitimacy of the implementation of geo-security strategy and the establishment of authoritarian regime.The stability of Russia's political culture determines the stability of its foreign policy.Therefore,the study of Russia's political culture provides a path to trace its source to the Russian unpredictable foreign policy.
