The Research On The Socialization Of Old-age Support Based On The Population Aging In Xinjiang

Population aging of is one of the significant social issues both domestically and internationally, the time of occurrence, the process and tendency different in terms of countries and regions. Xinjiang is multinational area, within which most of multinational people assemble to live without insulation based on ethics and other minorities of residences live because of ethnicity. The policy of Family Planning has adopted unbalanced approaches between Han and Minority as well as urban and rural area, and Xinjiang is characterized by its own status of development of population, it is therefore evident discrepancy exists between this province and others. What's more special, the aging process in Xinjiang is posterior to other areas.This thesis makes an analysis from perspective of aggregate population and ages structure of population, followed by the research results that the ages structure in Xinjiang has displayed the tendency of aging in 2000, and some of the cities has entered the stage of aging before 2000, the region entered the aging of the population in 2006, and the tendency indicates aging problem has occurred simultaneously both at the bottom and top of the age structure. It is reasonably forecasted during the first half of 21st century, aging population is getting larger and proportion of aging population in age's structure will augment rapidly. With acceleration of urbanization, a large number of surplus labor forces from rural areas especially those young migrant workers will migrate into cities, as a result, only aged people will be left in family both in city and villages. The traditional way of providing for old age by family will confront with critical challenge. Our research will state appropriate solution towards providing for old age by creating and implementing the new scenario of providing for old age on socialization.
