The Taiwan issue is a problem left over from the Chinese civil war in decades, the two sides had not been able to achieve unity, because many different forces interfered in the results. The Taiwan issue involves China's core interests,is refered to a revivification of the Chinese nation, cocerned to the success or failure of the modernization and related to the state of strategic issues. It is not involved in the general interests of the country, local interests, the interests of the time, but the overall interests of the country's survival and development, the core interests and the long-term interests. In recent years,Hu Jintao put forward in Cross-strait relations under the theme of peaceful development, as well as Taiwan's political situation changes, the Cross-strait relations has entered into a new stage. Cross-strait economic and cultural exchanges became closer and stepped to a new level. The vital interests of people finally realized, such as Cross-strait links achieved. Cross-strait political contacts also shows pleasant steady development. However, the development of Cross-strait relations involved a wide range of interests, all kinds of conflict interests have their impact on the new changes but it can not change Cross-strait relations fundamentally. So the issue of Cross-strait relations must be analyzed from various angles. In this paper, the historical background of the peaceful development of the Cross-strait relations' subject is devided into three parts, which are conflict period, peaceful period and reverse period. Therefrom we can analyze the trend of Cross-strait relations' peaceful development. And it's also a very important way, through which we can find out the subject's theory basis, from the Chinese traditional culture and our country's present social nature and the guiding principle. It is the result of historical development tendency as well as the reality request, which is brought the subject up by these two aspects. There are various factors that can influence the Cross-strait relations. First one is positive factor which include the mainland factors, the Taiwan factors and the international factors. The mainland factors can be subdivided to political, economical, and social ones. The Taiwan factors can be also subdivided to political, economical, and social ones. Under the influence of these three positive factors, the Cross-strait relations are developed towards a good situation. But things are contradictory in any body of the unity, there are obstructive factors besides the postive ones. The obstructive factors including the political, social factors of the Taiwan and the American,Japan and other international factors. Once the obstructive factors are intensified,it can cause the reverse period(1995-2008),even the conflict period(1949-1966).How to ease the impact of obstructive factors and expand the role of positive factors is of great significance on promoting the Cross-strait relations and realizing the ultimate reunification of the motherland. We should deal with the effects of two kinds of factors guided by the principle of "One country two systems",at the same time enhance our comprehensive national strength, strengthen both banks' economical and cultural exchanges,to promote the peaceful development of Cross-strait relations. Afterthat I raise the prospect of Cross-strait relations for prediction. The development of Cross-strait relations is related to a country's internal affairs and the fundamental interests, how to handle it,is depends on the two sides' Chinese people to reach a consensus. As the exchanges of Cross-strait's economical, political, cultural and martial are constantly increased,in the largest good will of both sides Chinese, I believe the two sides will eventually move toward unification.
