The Research On Crisis Information Management Of Government In The Network Age

In today's society, as more and more advanced network technology, the world has become a highly connected network. The rapid development of network has increased the transparency of the society. So the depth and breadth of crisis impact what the government face in the internet age has increased. In china, along with the rise of the price, the south snowstorm, the Sichuan earthquake, Sanlu milk incident, and so on, our country seems to have entered a period of multiple crisis which makes government face and respond after 2008.This also takes the challenge to the government. Therefore, the government crisis management has become the focus of the international community because of the frequent outbreak of crisis. The crisis information management runs trough the whole process of government crisis management, so the crisis information management of the government is very important. Because we are in this internet age, so the article will analyze the crisis information management of the government in internet age.In this article I will use administrative, information science, computer and other scientific theory to research the topic. And I also will analyze the advantages and disadvantages in the crisis information management of the government and provide corresponding measures. This will give reference to the government in order to enhance the ability of the crisis information management in the internet age.Firstly, this paper not only describes the resource of the topic, its significance, related concepts and the theories to define and analyze, but also review the research literature about this topic; secondly, I analyze the role of network in the crisis information management of government and put forward the advantages and disadvantages of network. I also analyze the network'usage at the every period of the crisis development; and finally I elaborate the advantages and disadvantages of the crisis information management in China and put forward corresponding measures in order to solute the existing problem. And I use the south snowstorm in 2008 to further analyze the crisis information management of government in the network age.
