| The legislation of ethnic group education in Xinjiang, is a strategic demand for governing the country and managing education by law, an essential part of ethnic legal construction in Xinjiang and the important guarantee for the healthy, stable and quick development of ethnic group education in Xinjiang. Strengthening and perfecting the legislation of ethnic group education in Xinjiang plays a significant role in promoting the development of ethnic group education and boosting economic and social development in Xinjiang.Chiefly based on the considerations on how to develop ethnic group education in Xinjiang under the concept of managing education by law, and thoughts on the fact that ethnic group education is the inner driving force for economic and social development in Xinjiang, the study in this paper aims to provide theoretical motivations and countermeasure support for promoting the healthy, quick, and sustainable development of ethnic group education in Xinjiang.By making use of Marxism ethnic theory, educational thought theory, ethnic pedagogy and law theory, and combining theoretical analysis with empirical analysis, induction with analogy, and analysis with synthesis, this paper is aimed at conducting a series of researches as follows;Firstly, to expound the connotation of managing education by law and the concept of ethnic group education;Secondly, to discuss the significance of the legislation of ethnic group education in Xinjiang;Thirdly, to analyze the status quo of the legislation of ethnic group education in Xinjiang and to compare the gap between Xinjiang and other autonomous regions in terms of legislation of ethnic group education;Fourthly, to probe into and sum up the chief arising problems and causes of influencing the legislation of ethnic group education;Lastly, to comprehensively and creatively advance some constructive countermeasures for enhancing ethnic group education in Xinjiang.
