The United States has its core strategic interests in Northeast Asia and the U.S. security strategy in this region is an important part of its global strategy. With the change of global situation, the evolution of security pattern in Northeast Asia, and the transition of the U.S.domestic political environment, George W. Bush adjusted the U.S.security strategy in Northeast Asia after he came to power. This paper discusses in detail Bush Administration's security strategy in Northeast Asia from the perspective of major powers game:the strengthening of the US-Japan Alliance, the renovation of the US-ROK Alliance, the Hawk Engagement strategy toward North Korea, and the changing strategy toward mainland China and Taiwan.
