Development is not just a growth in Gross domestic product (GDP) but also growth in people's welfare which leads to a better living standard. As rightly observed in this research, China unlike other third world countries has developed both in GDP and in the betterment of the lives of its citizens. The main objective of this work centers around China's miracle and I would want African countries to take a leaf from China and see if they can improve on the development policies used over the years which has been slow and has not made much impact in the live of Africans. The researchers aim is to see that further observation on this study will help African leaders make development policies that will be to the interest of their citizens at large especially by looking into the highlighted issues on grass-root development and leadership role which was part of what helped China in its development policy during the era of Deng Xiaoping.
