Of all the rescuer, who had been in Wenchuan where the most severe earthquake had strike in May 12,2008, most of them had never before seen such a disastrous scene. They would inevitably experience more or less psychological traumatic, even psychological stress afterwards.In this study, 578 species of different education background, specialties and military serviced were chosen randomly. They were interviewed through questionnaire and conversation. The interview was specific to the correlation between the PTSD and personalities, social supports and individual coping strategies.The study leads to the following conclusions:⑴Through the study of 174 soldiers of armed police forces, correlation has been found between PTSD and personality. The result of 16PF scale shows that PTSD has positive correlation with personalities as have persistence,sophisticated,independence,tonicity. Meanwhile, it has negative correlation with personalities as stability,to depend on powerful,excitation,illusion. ⑵Through the study of 204 students in one armed police forces academy, negative correlation has been found between PTSD and different kinds of social support. The correlation is: availability of social support>subject social support>objective social support.⑶Through study of 200 soldiers of air forces, correlation has been found between PTSD and individual coping strategies. The study of coping style questionnaire shows that PTSD has positive correlation with Re-experience andquestion, and it has negative correlation with high-alertness , illusion, avoidance and rationalization.
