Some policemen assault incidents appear in recent years, as well as the police showing indifference towards their work, as a special profession, high pressure, high strength and high risk. The reason is that policemen's job burnout is so serious. As a special Economic Zone, the policemen in Shenzhen has its special social background. Shenzhen, as a economy highly developing, rich material city, all kinds of cases is far more than the mainland. This study mainly investigates the relationship of Shenzhen policemen's job burnout and social support and coping style. This research use the way of questionnaire survey to investigate the situation of the 6 police stations of 400 policemen's job burnout, Social Support and the Coping Style, to the police station as a unit. The study uses statistical software SPSS16.0 for the data processing, the t test, F analysis of variance, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The conclusions are as follows:1,The job burnout of Shenzhen's policemen is not serious.2,The difference of job burnout between unmarried and married policemen is not significant. The job burnout between high-educated policemen is higher than low-educated policemen .For the age, the job burnout of 31-40's policemen is the most serious. For the police age, 10-15's policemen show high level of job burnout. For the post, job burnout of the investigate on policemen is higher than office policemen. The rank of one Division show highest job burnout.3,The social support and coping style of Shenzhen policemen in general is good.4,The job burnout of Shenzhen policemen's has close relationship with social support and coping style. The better social support, the lower job burnout. The better coping style , the lower job burnout. Factors of social support are negatively related to emotional exhaustion and depersonalization but positively related to personal accomplishment. The positive coping style to the Shenzhen policemen are negatively related to the emotional exhaustion and depersonalization but positively related to personal accomplishment. The negative coping style are positively related to emotional exhaustion and depersonalization.5,Regression analysis shows that the factors of social support and coping style Scale has a positive or negative predictive effect.
