The government image is essentially the recognition and evaluation of Government's, overall quality, comprehensive capacity and the ruling achievement among the domestic and foreign public, specifically reflected as government's recognition and reputation at home and abroad.The recognition and evaluation of government are closely related to its communication and dissemination with the public. If the government and the public lack the communication and dissemination, the public cannot obtain the correct cognition, and would possibly make the assessment, which affect the image of the government.In the course of the government image dissemination, the dissemination effect is decided to the public's absorption and understanding of the information. The paper which is based on the political science, communication science and social psychology, from the relationship between public cognition and the image of the government, has done a survey and analysis of the government's recognition and reputation, which is according to the public understanding, evaluation, psychological needs and the current situation of the country. In view of the network citizen's cognition to the government image and some concrete events, the paper also discusses the available dissemination strategy in the government image construction, and then puts forward the reasonable proposals.The first part of the paper is a research background of the government image dissemination, which described the meaning and purpose of the research.The second part use the theories of communication and the science of administration to carry out a system analysis of the operating mechanism of the government image dissemination, bedding for the investigation and analysis of the next part.The third part is an analysis of the current situation of the government image dissemination. By the investigation through the public recognition and reputation to the government and the network citizen's attention degree to government image, it has get a common knowledge of the current image dissemination of the Chinese government, and provides the basis for the problem analysis.Part IV is a problem-solution, which based on the analysis result of Partâ…¢, having brought forward optimization measure of the tactics adjustment of the government image dissemination and the public crisis dissemination.
