This paper aims at the problem that nonverbal communication can't take its fundamental effect properly in Chinese class of senior high school, using method of literature study, questionnaire survey, classroom observation and other method, taking more than half of year to collate literature data, analysis questionnaires, and observe the classroom, coming to a conclusion that nonverbal communication could improve the Chinese class teaching effectively.This paper, by collating and analyzing the literature data, investigation questionnaire and classroom observation record, based on the theory of communication and dialogue theory, focused on studying content, characteristics, classification and function of nonverbal communication, such as facial expressions, body posture, eye and such silent language to complement the activities of language teaching in Chinese class.More than 50% of information in Chinese classroom is passed by nonverbal acts. The nonverbal communicate in Chinese teaching is"the act that Chinese teachers apply other method except of language to teach in the classroom, such as facial expression, body posture, gestures, eye, clothing and other silent language, intonation, rhythm and other behaviors as auxiliary language to teaching. Non-verbal means of communication in the Chinese teaching have the nature of universality, bidirectionality, instantaneity, instantaneity, differentiation, ambiguity, continuity and other characteristics. It is divided into talkative ways, silent and dynamic ways and silent and static ways (sub language). Nonverbal communication in Chinese teaching classroom has the function of enrich information, arouse the enthusiasm of students, adjust and control teaching atmosphere, feedback information timely, provide information on student learning, and so on.This paper also discusses the apply strategy of nonverbal communication. First of all, transform the old notion and accumulate skills of non-verbal communication; second, follow the principles and improve the efficiency of nonverbal communication; thirdly, strengthen training and upgrade nonverbal communication capacity. To sum up, this paper is to improve the Chinese teachers'applying capacity of nonverbal communication. It is very necessary to strengthen the Chinese teachers'teaching knowledge of nonverbal communication, and it is a worthwhile aspect for us to continue explore. Hoping this paper can play a role in attracting valuable opinions.
