Teaching activity is a course in which the teachers influence the students by the means of language tools, language measures, non-language measures, their own personalities and actions. The teachers' non-language utterances have the functions of conveying information, communicating, controlling and adjustment in the course of teaching. The teachers' non-language utterances also have the characteristics of concurrence, continuity, expressing the feelings, action and situation. When I observe the teachers' teaching behaviors in four middle schools in Kunming, it is found that the teachers have positive and negative non-language behaviors in the course of teaching. These activities have different influences on the teaching activities. The teachers of different subjects, different genders and different ages act differently in the aspect of non-language behaviors. In this, article, I explore the detail ways of non-language behaviors and the internal factors which influence them. My view is that the teachers' senses of education, of the students, their attitude to the subjects and their professional accomplishments can influence their non-language behaviors. On the basic of analyzing and studying, I give some advices on how to develop non-language skills of the students in normal colleges.
