In order to fit in with the reform of Chinese basic education, with"multiple intelligence", a significant theory proposed by Howard Gardner as the theoretical foundation, basing on the characteristics of the junior middle school chemistry, insisting on the principle of"teaching for multiple intelligence, teaching with multiple intelligence and teaching around multiple intelligence"and combining the improvement of new courses to explore the efficient teaching strategies for developing students'multiple intelligence in a chemistry class and its corresponding multi-element and multi-dimensional educational evaluation system, this paper aims at making the teachers understand how to apply multiple intelligence theory to the practice of a chemistry class in junior middle school, how to connect the current courses'improvement with multiple intelligence theory, how to change the teaching methods of teacher and improve the learning styles of students, which will guide and inspire the teachers in junior middle schools and primary school on new educational thinking and teaching design.Combining with the teaching practice of the author, in this paper, it is illustrated that the application of multiple intelligence theory to the implementation of a chemistry class teaching strategies of junior middle school should target the development of students'interests, center the problems of students and tone with the teaching exploration to start a chemistry class from the learning interests, life experience and knowledge level of the students and train them"to participate actively, to explore willingly, to act industriously"– the ability to acquire new knowledge actively, which could develop the potentiality of students in varying degrees, and make the student to learn voluntarily with active emotional attitudes, thinking initiatively and practising willingly in the scientific learning procedure; and this will provide basic knowledge and skills for life-long learning of students and make them become a new generation in wit and with sound personality.
