Implementing"student-oriented education"in politics teaching in high school, the teacher can clearly see the status of students and make corresponding choices and changes of the teaching contents and methods. The teacher can make full use of the educational resources including students themselves to develop their ability of thinking and innovation. The essay using literature research, empirical research and theoretical research method, The essay defines the concept of student-oriented education from the connotation and extension and puts forward some requirements on politics teaching in high school and the theoretical foundation of the implementation student-oriented education in high school; The essay decribes the necessity and feasibility of implementation student-oriented education in politics teaching in high school; It also comes up with the principles and methodology to implement student-oriented education in politics teaching in high school; It contains the practical research and some experience of applying student-oriented education to actual politics teaching. Teaching Experimental results show that: compared with traditional teaching, student-oriented education is conducive to establishing the dominant position of students and enhancing the democratic consciousness in teaching. Student-oriented education also helps optimize the learning process and improve the teaching efficiency in politics class.
