The Study On Cultivating Key Competencies In Vocational Education

The world has entered the era of globalization. Along with the social adjustment of industrial structure and the change of labor structure,the past single professional knowledge and skills already cannot satisfy the requirement of the development of social economy. With the rapid alteration of the vocational careers, the demand for the adaptability to vocation is higher and higher. Recently every country all over the world pays more and more attention to the cultivating of the key vocational education ability. This thesis firstly introduces the connotation and features of key competency, and reviews the background of its taking shape. Then it discusses the influence of internal psychological mechanism on the cultivating of key competencies from the two dimensions of the building of core values and the cultivating of non-intellectual factors, and puts forward the teaching method of implementing the schoolenterprise cooperation and action orientation. And then this thesis discusses the situation of the cultivation of key vocationnal competencies in our country, and inspects the advanced concepts and practice in cultivating key competencies in vocational education in Germany, UK and Australia. And taking the traffic specialty in Suzhou Institute of Construction and Communications as an example, this thesis also introduces the concrete practice and successful experience in cultivating students'key competencies. Finally it gives the countermeasures and the suggestion of cultivating key competencies.
