This thesis is intended for the present situation of fine arts teaching, based on the teaching efficiency theory in pedagogy with the purpose of researching into the teaching efficiency in the fine arts teaching and promoting the development of the educational theory as well as the teaching practice of the fine arts.Comprehensive summaries and basic analysis of the teaching efficiency theory make up the main contents of the paper. A view is put out that teachig efficiency theory actually refers to the teaching goal and is a teaching activity based on a specific teaching goal.A teacher is expected to follow such principle as efficiency maximization and meet the students'satisfaction as much as possible,which can only be conducted when the students'progress and improvement both in personality and academy can be felt by the teacher.The teaching goals of fine arts consist of three aspects:knowledge and skill,process and approach,emotion and attitude.Teaching efficiency is actually a process through which the students can acquire knowledge and skills guided by a prepared teacher with clear explanation, good orgnization and proper questions. The students can improve themselves in all aspects via communication and interaction.Besides, they can also find pleasure and develop their interest and achieve what can do good to the society.Only when all the three aspects of the teaching efficiency are achieved can your teaching be efficient.The theory of efficient teaching at home and abroad is inducted in the paper. Under the guidance of this theory, combined with the features of the teaching of fine arts in the senior high, some effective approaches are put out, such as effective explanation, discussion approach, questioning approach, assessment approach, etc. In addition, the inner meaning of each approach is defined in detail together with the implement suggestions that are all presented in the form of teaching plans because all the masters of education are practical teachers with enough teaching experience.The teaching plan presented in the paper is an example of my teaching practic in which all the teaching approaches above are properly adopted together with some assessment and self-examination.
