Information technology has brought great impact on education with human stepping into the information times in 21st century. It not only has impact on the curriculum reform which includes course contents and ours objectives, but also has impact on the education concept which includes learning methods and teaching methods. The Education Ministry has clearly statement the guide of the information technology:"popularizing the information technology education in elementary school and middle school, speeding up the integration of information technology into curricu1a , accelerating the speed of education information process, promoting the development of basic education in China". As the core content of the of education information, information technology was integrated into curricu1a has become a necessarily. High school learning is the senior stage for the middle school students. The better educational conditions provide the convenience for the teaching activities of integrating information technology into curricu1a.The high school teachers'competence in integrating information technology into curricu1a was curial to the integration of information technology and curricu1a.Therefore, the practice and theory research activities of high school teacher's competence in integrating information technology into curricu1a become more and more important.In the research process of the practice and theory research activities of high school teachers competence in integrating information technology into curricu1a the researcher pay more attention to the"top-down"model dominated by government and"training"model dominated school administration under which organizers valued cost-effectiveness. Therefore, the disadvantages such as mono-direction, simplified model and weak target ware inevitable. The trainee teachers were passivity and inactive in this kind of training model in which the enhance of high school teachers'competence in integrating information technology into curricu1a has restricted.With the research development to the education technology, reasons to high school teachers'competence in integrating information technology into curricu1a has changed. More and more teachers become active. They become attach more importance to self-cultivation. Self-cultivation pays close attention to teachers'subjective initiative, self-discipline and autonomous learning competence. Self-cultivation has proved to be an effective approach to enhance the high school teachers'competence in integrating information technology into curricu1a.Referring to the problems which high school teachers meet in the process of integrating information technology into curricu1a this paper take high school teachers who was curial to the success of integrating information technology into curricu1a as the research objective. It is necessary to stimulate high school teachers'subjective initiatives. This paper brings up a new"bottom-up"model in which high school teachers could continuously enhance the competence in integrating information technology into curricu1a based on the careful search on the experience of integrating information technology into curricu1a.And this kind of model was easy to mange and popularize.This thesis is consisted of three parts. The first chapter is the introduction in which the author mainly states about literature review, the research background, objective, and also the significance and methodology of research. In chapter Two, basing on the role high school teachers play in the integration of information and curriculum, the related definition and theory about information and curriculum integration are acknowledged and meanwhile the characteristics, current research situation are further put forward, At last this part is concerned with the necessity and importance of the research of self-cultivation of high school teachers'competence in integrating information technology into curricu1a. Chapter three mainly deals with the definition, basis, objectives and significance of high school teachers'self-cultivation competence in integrating information technology into curricu1a. In chapter four, basing on the introduction of self-cultivation, the author fully proposes the strategy of self-cultivation, including plan and management. In this chapter the author also proposed the new pattern of self-cultivation. Chapter Five is a hypothetical study on the effectiveness of the new pattern of self-cultivation. Chapter Six is the conclusion part. Some insights drawn from the above analysis was referred, including the research result and innovation. In addition, the limitation of this paper and the consideration of further study are also mentioned in this part.
