The Function System Of Science And Technology For Serving Society Of Lanzhou University And Its Prospective

The system of science and technology for serving society is one of the important duties for every university in China. How far and how many of the achievements that the university could provide depend on their abilities and knowledge. However, there are many factors which come from the government, society, business, and company etc, may lead significant influence on the serving system of universities. It's an effective pathway for every university to promote the serving ability by comprehensive analysis for the benefits and disadvantageous factors that origin from inside and outside, and then using the specific strategy to overcome the barriers. To my opinion, few works has been done to fit the requirement from our universities until now. The objective of this research was to establish the function system of science and technology for serving society in Lanzhou University to promote the development and application of serving system in the future.Firstly, it was investigated that the history, the achievements and shortages of the serving system in Lanzhou University. Based on this, the development method of the serving systems and the risks was given out.Secondly, the influence factors, including which come from the inner side and the outside, were discussed. According to the pre-researchers'opinions, we calculated the access system for the science and technology of serving system in Lanzhou University, compared the examine strategies between Lanzhou University and other universities in China, and analyzed the requirements and effects from the society, government and people, then some suggestion were gave out to establish the function system of serving system in Lanzhou University.Last, in order to fit the demand from the university, the prospective for the serving system was given out which based on the basic information, the ability of science and technology research and the property of the human resource and economic levels. It was indicated that Lanzhou University should focused on their specific features and their regions characters.In conclusion, to develop the system of science and technology for serving society in Lanzhou University is an important task which has high valuable and efficiency both for Lanzhou University and the society.
