In recent years, the outstanding difficulties in graduates' employment have always been the social concerns. Difficulties in graduates' employment include various subjects, however, no completed theory or system exists. It appears that limited literature on the job hunting process can be achieved; also, the existing research programmes are mainly qualitative, but not empirical。The essay starts from human capitals and job hunting behaviours, and tries to discover their relationship with graduates' satisfactions of their first jobs. Further more, basing on the current literature, the essay takes empirical research to work out more findings. The essay takes graduates from one University in shanghai as the research subjebts, and goes through empirical investigations. The outcome comes through three processes:First, the concept and representation of graduates'human capitals as-well as the concept of job hunting behaviours and its testing method were defined by literature search and synthesis. Second, questionaires named "Graduates' Preparation on Job Hunting" and "Graduates' Behavior of Job Hunting" were prepared for a two-step survey, and more than 100 copies of response data were collected. Finally, through difference testing and correlation analysis methods, the correlation was confirmed. However, human capitals and job hunting behaviors are variously affected by different internal factors.
