Affect Of Sports Dancing On Female Undergraduate Body Component

Purpose Study the effect of sports dancing on female university students' body composition, to confirm whether it is useful for female university students health to develop sports dancing in ordinary colleges and universities.Method With 30 female college students as the research object. Free time in the afternoon was used to proceed sports dance exercise for 18 weeks, 90min each time, three times a week. Each can be divided into three stages: 5min warm-up exercise, 80min sports dance and 5min relax. Athletic intensity control in maximum heart rate of 60-80 percent. Experimenters were tested before and after 18 weeks exercise for paired comparison. Height, circumference of body (chest, waist, hip) and skin-fold thickness (arm and shoulder department, chest, abdomen) were measured. Body composition index were measured by body composition analyzer. Body composition index include body weight index, fat kilograms, body fat percentage, body lean weight, protein content, mineral content, muscle weight, intracellular fluid, extracellular fluid, obesity index, standard totalbody weight, standard total body moisture, basal metabolic rates, impedance.Results After 18 weeks sports dancing exercise, female students height and chest circumference increaed from 158.83±4.99cm and 81.43±4.32cm to 160.00±4.73cm and 83.17±4.34cm respectively, and waist and hip circumference decreased from 68.47±5.11cm and 92.33±4.38cm to 66.63±5.28cm and 91.17±4.39cm respectively. The difference had significance (P<0.05). There were significant difference for skin-fold of arm, scapular, chest and abdomen before and after exercise (P<0.05). The number decreased from 7.27±1.27mm,11.76±1.97mm,9.55±0.95mm and 13.08±2.87mm to 6.87±1.20mm,10.77±1.78mm,8.46±1.06mm and 11.35±2.18mm, respectively. Body weight, body fat percentage, fat kilograms,body obesity index and impedance were significantly decreased from 52.92±6.09kg,27.31±2.88%,14.46±3.27kg,-2.68±9.12%,0.76±0.04,-638.07±58.87 before exercise to 51.71±5.88kg,26.14±2.99%,13.65±3.00kg,-4.68±8.64%,0.74±0.03 and 624.70±59.79 after exercise(P<0.05).Standard total body weight, protein content and muscle weight significantly increased from 53.97±3.61kg,7.78±0.58kg,and 35.04±2.53kg to 54.61±4.36kg,7.85±0.54kg and 35.44±2.54kg(P<0.05). Body lean weight, standard total body moisture, body index, basal metabolic rates,mineral content, intracellular fluid and extracellular fluid had no significantly changes before and after sports dancing exercise(P>0.05).Conclusion Sports dancing exercise has positive effect on physical form for female university student. sports dance training is useful to develop female students good body posture habits, change body shape and create beautiful line.Sports dance training have very good effect to reduce body fat. Sports dance training can significantly change the female college students' body composition, reduce redundant adipose, promote muscular and transform body to health, muscular and beauty.
