| At present, state and society have paid great attention to the issue of college students with financial difficulties. A series of measures have been lauched including state educational loan, national scholarship,national endeavoures scholarship, work-study, special hardship allowance,tuition waiver and green channel for helping the dropouts because of poor. Nanchang universtiy has solved lots of problems during the couse of implementing those measures, however,it also suffered many contradictions and difficulties. So, it has the theoretical and practical significence which establishs a reasonable,practical the series of related sponsor policies with Nanchang universtiy's characteristics.We should analyze the theroetical basis of sponsor systems, sponsor system of the other national universites and Nanchang univesity, compare with the innovation and success of other universities'sponsor polices. Then thinking over the sponsor molde, organization and implementing subject of Nanchang University through the research. However, the high propotion of the students with financial difficulties funds insufficient of Nanchang University and inadequate social sponsor, As a result, we should establish sponsor policies which is based on the theory and practical experiences.The paper is classified into 4 parts:the first part is about the background and situation of the problem, put forward the research methods and innovation points; the second is about the sponsor forms of the university financial strapped students, the theory basisof the sponsor policies; and the main forms of the sponsor policies of Nanchang University; the third is similarities and differences between Nanchang University and other universities'sponsor policies; analyzing the other universities' good and the problems existed in Nanchang University, which are the importance and difficulty of the paper. The last part is the thoughts and the how to improve the sponsor policies of Nanchang Universty.
