Mathematics Learning Strategies Training Among The Junior Secondary School Students In Their Inquiry Learning

The Party's educational policy put forward at the Communist Party of China (CPC) 17th CPC National Congress stated, "we must focus on educating students with top priority given to cultivating their moral integrity, improve their overall quality, modernize the educational system, and train socialist builders and successors who have all-round attainments in moral, intellectual,physical and aesthetic education. All this is designed to run education to the satisfaction of the people." What's more, the mathematics curriculum of secondary schools requires mathematics teaching attach importance to nurturing learning strategies. Therefore, it is essential for all the mathematics teachers to consider how to fully mobilize the students'ability to learn and how to stimulate their creativity. Effective teaching can't only rely on simple imitation and recitation. It must also includes drills, self-exploration and cooperation etc. The inquiry-based teaching is intended to help students master knowledge and the ability to use and to explore scientific and effective learning strategies.Based on the documentary research and consulting the New Curriculum Standard, I follow the general form of strategy research, that is, problems--passive influence -- causes-measures. By combining the theory and practice, I try to explore the specific features and pratical ways of mathematics teaching aiming to cultivate the students learning strategies and teaching methods; by studying the students'learning situation, I make an attempt to find the teaching models of inquiry learning; by analyzing various teaching cases, I improve and distinguish my teaching models and instructional design.The research will further enrich my teaching experience and raise my teaching level to meet the needs of the curriculum reform. I will try my best to improve my quality and professionalism and to become a research-oriented person with ability.
