As the new course of mathematics in high school is reformed in the gradual expansion in all parts of the country, mathematics contest open a new chapter and is gave a new era intension. As a part of mathematics teaching in middle school, it has born the weight of many people's expectation, was paid close attention to by more and more thinking people. The author of this text is teaching on the first line of high school, cherishing the strong interest to contest mathematics, paying close attention to the development of mathematics contest, seeking methods and laws for learning in mathematics actively. The thinking of research herein is to proceed from the pedagogy principle of mathematics and psychological principle, through the visual angle of new courses, pursuing the connection between mathematics contest and mathematics' new courses, such as the relation with college entrance examination.In term of training student's initiative spirit, author intends to study the connection with daily teaching of mathematics competition, for example the relation with school course, research study, mathematics modeling, mathematics culture of the school, etc.. This text combines the new achievement of the modern teaching theory organically with teaching practice of mathematics contest, to discuss how to permeate the new course idea through the development for activity, and to launch positive thinking to the existed problem in the activity.
