The highest purpose and core idea of the new curriculum is "for the development of each student ". It breakthroughs the discipline-based concepts, and takes the students as the main body. The new curriculum has three targets, including the knowledge skills, the process method and emotional attitude values. General technology refers to the technology, which distinguish with professional technology in senior middle school. It refers to the comparatively broad, the basic and generality technology outside of the information technology. Situation teaching is the product of our age, with distinct features and the strong spirit of the Times. The research of the situation creation theory and the application in the general technical classroom of senior middle school has many benefits. For example, it can improve the students'learning initiative, learning stimulate and learning desire. It can help teachers'understanding to the necessity of teaching. It also can highlight the importance of the situation creation in teaching. It can improve the teaching effect of the general technical class in senior middle school. At last, it can promote the reform and development of the classroom teaching in senior middle school.This document has five parts. First part is introduction, which explained the major purpose of this paper and the status of this study all over the world. The second part is about the theory research of the situation creation. Mainly introduces the meaning and functions of situation creation, and the context of necessity of creating methods and tips. This part also introduced the theory which situation creation related. The third part is the key point of this paper. Mainly introduces the types of the situation creation: created by language description, created by multimedia, created by setting question, created by experiment, created by promotion of social life, created by multimedia technology teaching. The fourth part introduces the situation creation teaching practice and case studies, and the impact for the students and teachers. The last part introduces the research results and the problems in future.This paper uses the basic theories of Education, Educational Psychology and Education Research's. The goal of this paper is strive to complete a practical significance paper by looking for literature, comparative analysis, field surveys, and interviews approach to research.
