Learning is the task faced by each person in the life-long era of knowledge economy. If university students want to be responsible for their own learning, they must become independent, autonomous and effective learners, which is the fundamental goal of education. In reality, their credits are not enough, they fail the exam and there are many other academic problems and what causes these problems is that they are unable to use appropriate learning strategies for effective learning. Training students to apply effective learning strategies to their studies and teaching them how to learn have not only been regarded as a fruitful way to help the students learn effectively, but are the important means to reduce the burden on students and improve the quality of learning for school as well. Although scholars'research on learning strategies is very abundant, the system of the university students'learning strategies is not yet constructed or revealed in the previous research, and it has been rarely discussed that individual university student learns with different types of learning strategies. As a result, an in-depth study on university students'learning strategy training and research on its impact on the students'academic performance have a certain theoretical and practical significance. Experiment method is adopted to conduct the in-depth research? This research is on the basis of the questionnaire survey analysis and weighted grades of students from Education and Psychology Department of some university in Shenyang, Liaoning Province.Teaching Plans for learning strategies when the author consciously gave the student strategies. The experiment lasted a whole semester. The results from the experiment are as follows:1.Learning strategy training has significant effect on college students'academic achievement. The training of learning strategy has great influence on the group which the students got a high score or medium score. However, the influence on the group with low score is not obvious.2.There are different grade levels in college students' study strategy after the training. Learning strategy training on academic performance in low-grade group and medium-grade group have a significant effect. But there is no significant difference in terms of the high-grade group.3.There is a significant positive relevance between the learning strategy and the performance. The concrete learning strategy can forecast the students' performance positively.
